This privacy statement is intended to inform job seekers about the way Water Alliance collects and processes job seeker data. This privacy statement applies to the WaterJobs digital platforms and webpages. Water Alliance follows the applicable laws and regulations when collecting and processing personal data of job seekers. This privacy statement can always be adapted to recent developments.
Why does Water Alliance process personal data?
The data and documents provided by the job seeker, are processed by Water Alliance to determine whether the job seeker is eligible for the Water Alliance database. The data will also be processed for passing on information to the job seeker about available vacancies and other potentially relevant information around this platform. After registering the job seeker to this database, the candidate will receive an email explaining the procedure and asking for permission for certain activities, such as sharing resumes with companies. This CV is sent to companies anonymously.
The personal data of the applicant is initially collected from the CV obtained, and the information that is passed on via the upload form on the web page. Personal data can also be collected through personal and / or telephone contact or further written information of the job seeker.
What data will be stored?
Water Alliance processes the personal data that is relevant to the database and to any suitable company. This concerns the information provided by the job seekers through the registration. The data that is processed, are the name and address data and other contact details. Also relevant are the education, courses, internships and employment history of the candidate. These will not be shared with other companies without permission.
For how long does Water Alliance keep data?
Water Alliance stores the data of the job seekers for the period of one year. Water Alliance will contact the job seeker before the end of the year whether the job seeker wants to extend his registration. A job seeker can withdraw his consent at any time. For this, a message must be sent to waterjobs@wateralliance.nl.
Candidate rights
A job seeker has the right to inspect the processing of his personal data. Requests for inspection can be directed to waterjobs@wateralliance.nl. As a result of such an investigation, a job seeker may ask for his data to be improved, supplemented, deleted or shielded, should the data be factually incorrect.If you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data, you can also contact the relevant governmental authority (Personal Data Authority).
